BRINGING TOGETHER ALL OF HER EXPERIENCES, Jen Payne began Words by Jen in 1993 in order to provide a comprehensive service to businesses, organizations and individuals. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in English and Journalism, and has worked in the related fields of public relations, newspaper editing and production, book design, graphic design and printing. Jen currently serves on the Branford Land Trust Advisory Board, and is Vice President, Director of Production and Marketing for Bick Publishing House in Madison, CT. She is the creator and editor of Creative Soup, an online arts and literature collaboration. Jen is a former Board member of the Branford Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she volunteers for the Branford Historical Society, the Community Dining Room, the Women & Family Life Center in Guilford, and Wind Over Wings Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Clinton. • Professional Recognition
